ALL●AIR™ DR Rack Module for Commercial HVAC Systems.

Cooling Coil Irradiation

The prevention of microbial growth on commercial HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) cooling coils using Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) leads to lower maintenance and resultant energy savings.

The ALL●AIR™ DR Rack Module cleans the cooling coil, an integral part of a building's HVAC system.  The coil can host microorganisms, especially mold (a major allergen and contributor to respiratory illness).  Uncontrolled, mold microbes can be distributed throughout the entire building by HVAC systems.

UVGI of the HVAC cooling coil prevents microbial buildup on the coil and drip pan, inhibiting the release of pathogenic microorganisms.  A clean cooling coil has a significant impact on the health and productivity of the building's occupants.

Biological contamination buildup on the coil fins can affect thermal transfer through the coil and occasionally cause air flow blockage.  A clean coil brings the building to temperature using less energy.

The DR UV Rack Module features:

  • UV lamp assembly (with G36T5 and G64T50)
  • Single end electrical lamp connection
  • Waterproof UV lamp connections
  • Quartz lamp tube with proprietary high UV coating
  • Electronic high output, rapid start ballast
  • Network communication to indicate lamp and ballast status and UV dosage
  • Ballast control for lamp dimming during low air flow conditions
  • Easy quartz and lamp replacement, requiring no tools
